Christian education is an integral part of Holy Cross Church. Children are welcome to stay in church with their family or go to Sunday school as they prefer. Sunday School classes are held from September until June. The children are a part of the service’s processional hymn and return as the sacraments are shared. Classes focus on traditional bible study, the power of daily prayer, inclusion, and taking care of God’s environment. We usually include craft, music, and lesson geared videos that connect the lessons.
As our children reach their mid-teens the priest meets with the teen and their parents to discuss Confirmation into the Episcopal Church. If they decide they wish to be confirmed, the priest(s) set up classes.
We are blessed to have a facility that provides a safe space for toddlers through teens.
We are very conservative sharing pictures of our children. We ALWAYS get approval from all parents respecting their privacy and the safety of our children.
